Bankstown Superchargers

Quick stop in Bankstown to use the amenities. Then on towards the Hunter Valley, passing an all electric Woolworths delivery truck and an all electric Porsch Taycan. Opposite ends of the vehicle spectrum coming together.

Charging

In the car’s navigation, we entered the places we wanted to go through, starting with Wollombi. The car routed through Bankstown Superchargers, since it reported that the Campbelltown site had a temporary closure. The stop suited our timing, so we just parked, plugged in, did our thing, returned, unplugged and drove off. Charging is something the car does while parked. We don’t have to wait for 100%.

    1. Raphael Claverie Congrats! My general advice is to just:
      1. Enter your final destination in the navigation and let the car choose charging stops along the way. Aim to make use of these stops for toilet, food, stretch etc, all the things you’d stop for anyway.
      2. If/when you want to stop earlier, look for a place that also has an EV charger, so you can plug in while parked. Then the car will not need to stop where it planned to.
