Bright to Mount Buffalo

We climbed Mount Buffalo today, electrically assisted of course. Plenty of great lookouts along the way. I think it’s over a 1 km climb in altitude. The snow has melted, but it was still 4°C in the late afternoon. Barely any cars around, apart from us.

Charging

We left with about 70% battery, after leaving Sentry Mode enabled over night. That dropped to about 40% by the time we reached the summit, but we regained about 5% on the way back down. Gotta love regeneration.

  1. I rode a bike from Bright to the top a few years ago. Beautiful climb. My enduring memory is of a great big fat black snake lying on the side of the road. Snakes to us Kiwis are things from the devil

    1. Mark West A bike, as in pedal power? Wow. 1km climb would be taxing.

      1. Tesla Tripping pedal, no "e" - it was a good workout! I went up to The Horn lookout so it was about 1400 metres of climb in total.
