Mum at the Holbrook Submarine

Bombala + Central Coast 2024

It’s amazing to see the little kid emerge from my elderly mother when we stopped at the HMAS Ottway Holbrook Submarine. A bit of a wander and refresh for a few minutes on our way from Cessnock NSW to Emerald Victoria.

Charging

While parked, we plugged into The NRMA charger next to the toilets and submarine. Might as well grab some electrons while we’re parked.

There’s a new Tesla Supercharger bank around here somewhere, which is much faster, but we still haven’t used it yet.

  1. We love stopping in Holbrook especially at the bakery or the Ten Mile Cafe while recharging.

  3. I love stopping there and having lunch at the cafe, and I was hoping the Superchargers would be near the submarine but they are about 1km away, behind the RSL club.

  4. I sometimes just drive there for something to do. But it's only a 140km round trip for me with no need to charge.

  5. And there are no public toilets near the superchargers. You have to by something from the RSL to use their rooms.
Their lounge is spacious and quiet relaxing.
