Superchargers and a pyramid bridge at Harwood Hotel

Fully Charged + Off-Grid Living 2025

Time for a stretch. We followed the Tesla navigation to the Superchargers at the Harwood Hotel, on the Clarence River. Love the sign.

The bridge construction looks like a modern day pyramid. Very impressive.

Charging

Boringly easy. Park. Plug in. Walk away. Use the amenities. Come back. Unplug. Drive off.

  2. Hi, I have a question re your recent overseas trip.
We’re you able to use your Australian Tesla account for charging payments? Did you have any issues trying to charge for payment? Thanks kevin

    1. Kevin Powers Hi 👋. The car we used in Europe was a rental. The rental company owns the Tesla account linked to it and has set the payment details. I can’t use my own account to pay for charging on their car.

It has been the same when renting a Tesla in Australia.

When I plug the rental car into a Tesla Supercharger, Tesla charges the cost to the rental company. Some rental companies include that in the rental, and some pass it on as an extra charge.

    2. Thankyou so much. We r off to Norway April, plan to hire Polester EV for 14days and use Tesla chargers. Love your trips. We caravan around AU at moment but will shortly purchase a Tesla as well. Wife has a BYD Dolphin, we love the EV.
