Selling our beloved Model 3 for $35,000

NSW Central Coast + Seal Rocks 2025

We’re selling our EV.

It’s been a fantastic car, never skipped a beat. It drives as well today as the day we bought it. We’re only selling because we need a car that has seating higher off the ground (arthritic hips).

Selling for $35,000. No offers. We have a week to sell it, otherwise we’ll just trade in on a new car (another EV).

  1. What did you end up choosing for the new car? Also, I could be wrong, but I don't think the EAP will stay with the car

    1. Stephen Sizer Hi 👋. We chose the taller Model Y. Yes, EAP stays with the car. I wish it stayed with me, for the new car, but alas, no 😞.

      1. Tesla Tripping congrats. I thought it didn't transfer to the new owner for some reason. Maybe that's FSD. Curious to hear how you go with the Y. I have a 3 currently. 1 metal hip and will need the other doing at some stage. I'm thinking of getting a Y next too

  3. Reduction in price for the extra minor scrape to the cover under the passenger side not my fault. Blame my driveway
    Adds value 😁

    1. Daniel Rond LOL. Ah, yes, I think your driveway christened the metal scrape plate under the car. But I guess that’s why it’s there.

      2. Daniel Rond We have test driven quite a few lately. But the Tesla has just been the best handling, most spacious, zoomiest option. So, we’re going for the same again, but in the taller Model Y option. I am sad to see our Model 3 go, since it’s the sportier of the two.

    1. Thanks, Salli - I was doing more research today, between the BYD Atto 3, the Cupra Born & getting something similar to my old car & just waiting a year.......now I have another option to confuse me!?! 😵‍💫

  9. Shame you didn’t just put a lift kit in it. You wouldn’t have lost all that value and still had your great car, and the seat height becomes the same as a Y

    1. Kool Bass I guess that’s an option, true. But the Model Y has more space all around, easier to get in and out, take luggage etc.
