About $25k for a new BYD Atto 1. Wow. EVs are now approaching the price of comparative ICE vehicles.

Unfortunately, BYD couldn’t get their Atto 1 prepped in time for the show, but they did have the Atto 2 on the floor (pictured). At Everything Electric Melbourne.

      Duy Hua wonder if they got rid of the terrible dynamics. We had the misfortune of an Atto 3 for 3 weeks after some tosser hit my 3 in a carpark (drive off but sentry caught the whole deal) a direction change like a roundabout induces seasickness as the damn thing wobbled from side to side. One drive and we christened it Wobbles.

    Great to see economy priced EVs on sale. Its range would limit it to a city runabout and touring high trafficked routes equipped with plenty of public chargers.

        I asked a question. The BYD mentioned was not at the show, so I asked if it’s battery was still not charged; after 8 hours.

        Thomas Davie so you asked a question. As a smart arse you did not get an answer did you.
        The answer would be that you don’t have to have a charged battery to display it. You would only need around 10% charge for the day
