Crossing the Murray to Deniliquin

Fully Charged Sydney + Victoria 2023

We left Echuca, Victoria, crossed the at Murray River, Moama Nsw, and stopped for a while in Deniliquin, New South Wales. Francis had camped here many times as a kid, and remembers 40°C days and general camping misery.

Most of the area seems very dry. But there are pockets of green by the river and around the town parks. A few interesting pockets. No EV chargers to be found (which we expected).

    1. Kylie Gilroy I've added some more photos, so now the one of Francis driving is the eleventh photo, but still the last. We took that photo just to show you that she does sometimes drive the Tesla ☺️.

    1. Evert Numan Yeah, I must admit that we photographed the greenest parts of Deniliquin,. Most of it seems quite dry, especially out of the centre of town.

  3. Good old Deni’
What car fridge do you have? Just run it from the 12v plug in the back of the car?
I’m heading for Vic & SA next month

    1. Keith Strib It’s a Kings 50L powered fridge (ie it uses a compressor). It’s huge. Takes up two seats in the back. Doesn’t fit through the boot opening. But it fits quite a bit of food, milk, leftovers etc. Powered from the 12V in the car or AC power point when we sometimes move it into accommodation or a tent. I leave sentry mode on, which keeps the 12V supply going overnight.
