Made it to Bright

NSW South Coast + Bright 2023

Absolutely stunning town by the Ovens River. Picturesque walks abound, caffeine options aplenty and it was cold enough for Tom to wear shoes! Love to come back in the summer and watch people tackle the rapids of the river.

We enjoyed a scrumptious American style burger (so named because of the orange coloured plastic cheese therein) and crunchy curly fries. We have taken to going halves for lunch, partly to cut costs and also …….. we’re getting too fat!!!!

Charging

We used PlugShare to find that there is an Evie Networks charger in town, five minute walk from cafes and the river walks.

  5. Thought you'd be interested in this: We’re about to start an exciting Australia-first trial: putting electric vehicle chargers on existing power poles.

The number of EVs in the Eastern Suburbs is doubling every year, so we think this is great news. However, it will result in some parking changes in our streets.

With that in mind, we’ve put together a list of proposed locations in the LGA, which you we need your feedback on. Have your say now via the link in our bio!

  6. I’ve always wanted to visit Bright & with that description even more so.

I assume the burger included the rather dodgy looking Jack cheese. I’m not sure if I like it or not tbh.

    1. Peter Hofland Yes, the orange cheese was in the burger. Delicious, overall.

    1. Neil Choi Hi. We found it on PlugShare. You'll need the Evie Networks app (or an Evie card) to use that charger.

Here's a screenshot of it in the PlugShare app's map.

    2. Alternatively, you can type `charger` in Apple Maps on iPhone to find nearby chargers. Or add the town name to the search text (such as `Bright charger`) to find the chargers in a particular town.

      1. Tesla Tripping thanks again. Using the outback to go up to Hotham. But the Tesla would be so much cheaper.
