Borealis AU light show by Lake Daylesford

Daylesford + Junee 2023

We drove down to Lake Daylesford with a cheese hamper from Winespeake for dinner, followed by the Borealis AU #borealisau light show. Lasers onto mists of rain fog and dry ice, with a mystical sound track background. Erie and beautiful.

    1. Dallas Drew Yeah, we liked it, being in the area anyway. But I would have been disappointed if we had driven a four hour round trip just to see the light show. From the description, I expected that the lasers would be drawing shapes, to mimic the actual borealis.

  3. Er, by the way, from Channel 7, "North End Bakehouse in Shepparton won big at The Great Australian Vanilla Slice Triumph in Merbein, near Mildura, at the weekend." Just in case you wander up that way.

    1. Evert Numan Ha! Francis has a particular weakness for the “snot block” (aka vanilla slice).

We’re currently on the NSW south coast.

Also considering driving to Yass via Batemans Bay instead of the usual M1 a couple of days after that

      6. Keith Strib It’s a little further away from our route, but we can probably make it. Please keep me updated ☺️.

      7. Tesla Tripping Thirroul is also still an option but David advised they’ll be there later in the day, traveling to the Blue Mountains today and charging at the Campbelltown SC this afternoon
I can easily make it to either location, Thirroul might be better for you and also suit David as well, making it easier for all of us to meet up at the same time?

      8. Sounds good (Thirroul). But I can probably adapt.

      10. Tesla Tripping 1:50pm now at Campbelltown, might be too early for you
I’ve advised David that you could meet up at Thirroul later
I can do either location, or even both, as it’s all quite close for me or I could catch up with you later (where are you headed to after Thirroul?)

      11. Keith Strib We would be getting to Thirroul at about 2pm, so won’t be there later. We’ll aim to skip that and head towards Campbelltown to meet you there for a late lunch. Perhaps at the nearby cafe? ETA 2:15. Does that work for you?
