Calf-feeding in Bodalla

Daylesford + Junee 2023

After staying off grid at Potato Point, we drove to the nearest civilisation (ie coffee outlet) in Bodalla. We were lucky to catch the (slightly late) 10am feeding of the calves and the strutting rooster.

Charging

There is one Tesla destination charger on site. It’s fairly slow (20A, 4.8kW), compared to the typical 7-11kW, but it’s still twice the speed of a standard power point (10A, 2.4kW). Hey, it’s free!

    1. Biing Yin Hmmm, interesting question. I can only estimate, something like:

30% free, such at destination chargers, accommodation, NRMA chargers, caravan parks, showgrounds or the first 7kWh from a Jolt charger.

30% household electricity or rooftop solar, about 5 to 30c per kWh

20% fast chargers, such as Jolt, ChargeFox, Evie, between 35c and 50c per kWh.

20% Tesla superchargers, about 65c per kWh
